Democrats are depressed after the first Supreme Court decisions featuring newly-installed Justice Neil Gorsuch were released this week confirmed that he is every bit as conservative as Republicans had hoped at his nomination.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the ranking Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told Politico: “We’ve got another Scalia.” She was referring to the late Justice Antonin Scalia, a hero to conservatives and a leading light of the originalist school of jurisprudence, who passed away last year and whose seat Gorsuch has just filled.

I'm not loving it. I don't love the extreme divide. I don't love the extreme far left agenda which will only try to work its way around these things. I don't love communists in any of our parties event eh Democrat party. They can call themselves progressives but that is just to avoid the stigma that goes with communism.

I am glad we have some conservative leaders and judges that are doing what is right but I do not love all this mess.

IMO this is a BIG element in the Trump hatred tsunami.

Justice Kennedy will retire in a couple of years. Justice Ginsburg doesn't want to retire but she can't hold out much longer. Trump will get to replace both of them, the conservative majority will be 6 to 3, and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth on the left. These are exciting times.
