    as usual you have it completely backwards if you would read post 111 you would not make such a foolish post as you just did....
    I was speaking facetiously in answer to post 111
    the only hypocrisy here is you not calling him out for naming me as a heretic

    OldRegular;

    You are not telling the truth and there will be a reckoning of such serious errors in due season.

    I will likewise avoid you according to Titus 3:10 as I intend to avoid iconoclast for the same reasons.

    Then post where Jesus Christ taught the pre-trib-"snatching away" of HIS Bride and while you are at it show where Jesus Christ taught that HIS Bride was a "parenthesis" in GOD's program for Israel!

    You avoid because you cannot defend your false doctrine!

    I didn't see that post. But this is what I did see.

    That doesn't sound like a facetious post to me. It sounds serious, and that is the way I took it.
    BTW. Cal sent me a pm with an apology for calling you a heretic not realizing it was against the rules. Will I get one from you?

    Right. I am waiting to see if this will happen.

    But you nailed it, sir:
    "Joh 1:12 But as many as received him..."

    How on earth can someone receive Jesus without accepting him. Hey, I am new here and still learning the ropes but what he said is just about the dumbest argument I have ever seen.

    So Calypsis4 calls Icon a heretic and Icon needs to apologize to you? A person not involved in their conversation. If you read Icon's post and Calypsis4 previous post, that Icon replied to, you will see Icon was pretending Calypsis4. That statement was far from a serious one. In Icon's statement he even says "I Caly4".....obviously pretending to be Calypsis4. So Icon, in jest, called himself (Icon) a heretic. The rest of the post was Icon's humorous attempt to provide Calypsis4's points.....very weakly of course....but that was the point of the post.

    DHK is the moderator here and the one who determines rules violations, so that he determined icon needed to appologize to cali.

    Well, you probably did break a rule....

    So Icon should apologize to Icon, for calling Icon a heretic :)

    I did not throw in the towel. Once I discovered what OR and iconoclast were, scripturally speaking, I put an end to it according to Titus 3:10. They've had more than the limit of a 2nd admonition.

    The utter mockery and lack of respect for our moderator reveals what kind of spirit they are of.

    Titus 3:10. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

    By the Grace of GOD Icon is a reformed pre-trib-dispensationalist and now a strong defender of the Doctrines of Sovereign Election and Grace and of the truth that the Church for which Jesus Christ died is NOT a "parenthesis" in GOD's program for Israel!

    By the Grace of GOD, though surrounded by Rapture Ready Southern Baptists, I was spared the error of being seduced by the Scofield Bible. Also by the Grace of GOD I have come to understand that the Doctrines of Sovereign Election and Grace are strongly supported by Scripture!

    So you see that neither Icon or Old Regular is a heretic! But to some "pre-trib-"snatching away" of the Church folks" the salvation of anyone who rejects that false doctrine is suspect and there is no doubt they are heretics as little Cal has noted!

    Neither do your beliefs seem to be similar to mine.
    You also deny being a Calvinist.

    What does that leave?

    As Darrell suggested, perhaps: Roman Catholic??

    I quoted the post for you.
    There were two objections here.
    One. He calls him a heretic.
    Second. The reason he is a heretic is because Cal believed that one must "accept" Christ, and Icon calls that heresy because "accept" isn't in the KJV.
    That is foolishness.
    And it isn't humorous at all. It is a few other things that I will refrain from mentioning.

    He doesn't call Calypsos a heretic. He calls himself that. He is pretending to Be Caly who calls him(Icon) a heretic. He even call himself Caly4 in the post you quoted. Icon never called Calypsis4 a heretic.

    *why would "free will" have bearing on a pre-trib view anyway? MacArthur is a believer in election and holds to the dispensational view. Not sure why that would be a factor in this debate???

    * as far as the humor goes. It was really hard to do on forum like this. If face to face, I have no doubt we all would have picked up on Icon's humor. Unfortunately, tone and facial expression is absent online.
