    As a LA Laker fan, and a Southern Californian, I should be excited to hear this. But, just how do these so called Sport Guru's arrive at their bold predictions; and should I believe them???

    Do any of you believe this pick by the bookmakers in Vegas, or, do you have another choice to clean house with the Lakers, and show Vegas they don't know spit! Let you predictions (for the Lakers, or some other rinky dink NBA sacrificial lambs) ring out as we come to a close of the first rounds in the NBA circuit to find a National Champ. Oh, and list your reasons for making this outlier your official pick to win the trophy.

    Meh. They should have stayed in Minneapolis or changed their nickname. The LA Junkies sounds about right.
