I see you skeet (clay pigeon) shooting. There has got to be places in LI that do that. Go check it out. You can pick up a nice light weight Over & Under (double Barrel) shotgun (410 models are better for women), then you and the girls could pop off a few shells & see how it feels. You get good & you can even do it competitively. And you can use it for pheasant hunting if your interested.

    Then there is golf! LOL

madre didn't like the Remington 1100 20 ga. She thought it lacked bottom compared to the 12 ga 1100 she learn to shoot first. I doubt she'd like the .410 not to mention those O/U are a bit pricey.

I always start kids off with 20 Ga single shots,,,,,simple & easy & cheap.

I used an Ithaca 12 Ga Pump for years....for everything.....very lightweight & gives you multiple shots. Even ejects from the bottom / nice if your left handed.

I don't personally own any guns, but my hubby is a deer and turkey hunter. He has several, and plans to buy more. I prefer to shoot things with my camera. :)

Well, I can't have one at college, but I have one at home. I plan to have a gun as soon as I get out, if simply to exercise my freedom to keep and bare arms.

Do you keep and bear arms?

Certainly. Although not usually on these winter days; that can make the hairs thereupon stand on end.
