Does he see the seed of him being the jewish peoples/Isreal, and also the spiritual seed, the Church?

And when God sdaid that he would curse/bless any nation based upon their treatment of His offspring, which group would that promise be applied to?

My Reformed Baptist former pastor explained Abraham's Seed this way:

    Genesis 15:5
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

This preacher noted that sunset occurs in v. 12 , so when Abram was looking up at the sky (v. 5), it was still daylight and the only star he would have seen was the Sun!

So Abram's seed was just One, the Sun. The Sun—the Son—Jesus. Get it?

    Now wasn't that simple.
