Does revelation 5: prove that we can pray to Saints/Angels directly?

    On another board here, inn a discussion regarding going to mary/saints in intercessorary prayers...

    This verse used to reference that the Bible supports such a notion..

    Why would we pray to Mary, or the saints, or even angels, for intercession?

    In Rev 5, we see where a search was done in heaven, earth, and even beneath the earth, for Someone to be able to open the book in God's right hand. John saw a Lamb, as He had been slain(Jesus), which was a Lion of the tribe of Judah. He was the only one worthy of such a task, and it is to Him we pray to. Not angels or Mary.....
