First, kudos to Ken for posting the proposed bill.

Now, without sounding paranoid....is it not curious to anyone else, that our government was able to get such a complicated piece of legislation, so well written, out so quickly???? This bill is more fishy than the sudden arrival of Sarah Palin, and I like her....

I have read over the bill, and it looks like it was already a boilerplate, ready to plug-in bill. It is too well written, in such a short amount of time to have simply come out of a weeks worth of in-fighting, screaming, finger-pointing diplomacy.

That is one well put together bill, and that causes me to wonder how it came about in such a short amount of time????

Does anyone else see my concern(s)???

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul:type:

I figure that there is a template for bills and they have loads of people working on Capitol Hill, so I am not surprised that it was written over a few days time.

I agree that we should have concerns about this bailout bill. I haven't seen myself or heard yet from anyone else anything that may have been sneakily introduced into this bill. It seems to be pretty straight forward. However, this it was bunch of politicians who are behind this thing, so we had best keep our eyes open.

We have got to stop agreeing like this, RD2, or this forum will become b-o-r-i-n-g.

I see things ablut like you. Although I haven't see anything to read about the bailout, I do have a good Congressman that will send me the bill and roll call after it has been printed by the Libruary of Congress. I will get in touch with his local office and make my request tomorrow.

My compliments to our legislators also. I agree, that is a lot of bill for such a short negotiating period. My question, if this is the final bill which is 100 pages, what was on the 3 original pages?

    My guess...

    Dear Congress,

Please write a check for $700 bill...

    Love,

    George and Hank

    SOURCE.

Seems like others are asking the same question. The answer is that they knew this was coming from a long way off. But like any other grab for more money power and control the people themselves have to be good and scared first and made to understand that the only way to fix the problem is to give the people who caused it more money power and control.

Same old plays from the same old playbook. Problem Reaction Solution.

The Lord is the Reason, Ken

I know it may seem a little odd, but, peel away the rhetoric of the election and this partisan thing, and we have true brotherhood through the shed blood of Jesus. With this kind of spiritual blood bond, the BB could never become
    b-o-r-i-n-g.

This question is one for Poncho to answer!

Personally, I think the government has lots of people who are masters out cranking out legislation in copious volumes literally overnight! But what does it say?

I'm going to have to pass this awesome responsibility over to Mike Whitney cause I got a few irons in the fire tonight.

Mike will tell you all about the "Trouble In Banktopia".

Conspiracy to defraud? You tell me.

I felt exactly the same way about the Patriot Act. It almost seems as if both "anticipated" the emergency and were written before hand.
