    I don't know 81% of white Evangelicals who voted for any candidate, immoral or not. So I have to say (given the number of people who vote in any given election) that your claim sounds more like propaganda than proof.

    I think the biggest difference is that politics is "of this world" and Christ was not. So in terms of being an idealist looking for perfection through humanistic ideologies (whether Democrat, Republican, or other) I'd have to say "no". But an Idealist concerned with God's Kingdom and that kingdom expressed and lived out here on earth through His people, I believe so.

    Idealist denotes foregoing practical situations or considerations to be guided by one's ideals. A Christian Democrat is about as far from an idealist as one can get. One who is obedient to God regardless of practical considerations or consequences is about as idealistic as one can get.

    You don't know that & there is no evidence to indicate this true. An independent study showed that approximately 5% of what President Trump has said in context of campaigning was actually true (about the same as Hillary Clinton). One would hope one following Christ (a "little Christ") would do much better than Biden (17% of his words proved true).
