I get ripped for having a negative attitude towards Trump but you're orders of magnitude above me. At least I'm willing to wait and see what happens.
You might as well substitute a wildcard placeholder for "working poor" and drop, "and his cabinet choices" from your post, for whatever you type on BB. As in:

The answer is no. He would have been fine with anything Crooked Hillary and will never be ok with anything Trump does.
He's a useful tool of the left. Nothing more.
There are millions just like him. Party line is all that matters.
Look at the man's history and what he has said in the past. If past is an indicator, and I believe it is, then the working poor are in deep trouble with this man.
His history has been a job creator and building a profitable business in an industry with thin margins. Plus he knows the plight of low income workers, since he employs them. He's likely a good negotiator and he's a Washington outsider. Win-win-win.

Obamacare is one of the worse things to ever happen to the "working poor". Maybe Trump can fix it after he gets rid of the trashy legislation known as obamacare.
