Riiiight.

True reasons:

1. People have figured out the scam which is "global warming." A new name is needed to fool folks and take their money.
2. We need an accurate description of the terrible tragedy that is happening worldwide: weather changes. GASP!
3. Now, they don't have to come up with the ridiculously stupid explanations like, "Well, the reason we had a record cold year is because of global warming. The explanations are just as vapid and devoid of fact...but the scammers sound less stupid.
4. Hey...why not name it new? That gives us a slew of new names for new taxes for evil acts such as breathing. (releasing the dreaded pollutant CO2).

Gee, we have a stupid, corrupt, gullible government.
