    The other day I saw an article on here that said Dr. Schaap resigned...is that true and does anyone know where the article went?

    no..if he would have, it would have gotten more attention than the death of the pope..in my church. no word about that so far.

    No. Dr. Schaap is not resign as pastor. That topic was deleted from Baptistboard, because it was posted on April 1st because of "April's Fool Day". I was not please with a person who posted it to fool us.

    He is the pastor of FBC Hammond and I believe the Son-n-law of Jack Hyles

    correct..the man is going through rough times... as always..there will be church members who think the new guy aint doing it the same way as the old guy.

    And I'm the one who deleted it. Mostly because, I could see a epidemic of humor deficency. The joke was a good one. Next year, I trust the joke will be reposted (unless Pastor Schaap leaves FBC Hammond in the meantime). Next year, look at the calendar before believing something as outrageous as this year's joke.

    I thought it was a great joke - I cam e VERY close to falling forit and asking the poster for a source -till I saw the name of the interviewee - Mrs April F. Day [​IMG] [​IMG] .
