Drones with cameras are now affordable to most people, & they're only gonna proliferate. And anti-droners are gonna develop cheaper radio systems to bring them down, or will start using lasers.

Many TV stations are replacing their expensive choppers with drones, as our local stations have done. Their drones are clearly marked, & are flown fairly-high, as their main use is to check the amount of traffic, road conditions, or a structure fire.

Misuse is most-often done by voyeurs, etc.

In the UK drone laws are ambiguous. You need a license if a drone is over 20kg or used commercially. You also can't use them anywhere near an airport. guns aren't as available in the UK as in the US but there are other ways to bring them down. There was a report of a man in Wales ramming a drone with his drone. Drone wars!
