Drought strikes 26 states

    The church has people who live in this nation. As God withholds His blessing on the church the nation suffers.

    How is this discussion helpful? If the drought is God's punishment then we should thank God but if caused by Mother Nature or human activity we should take steps to limit the damages and costs?

    Whatever the reason, if it is a done deal we should be taking water conservation and flood control measures in areas effected. The taxpayers should not be required to pay for federal flood insurance where "50 year floods" are happening every two or three years.

    Traditional historical water rights are crazy. Growing rice and green golf courses in the desert?
