Why is Joe even doing this? It would be alot easier if he just leveled with John Q. Public and said,

"look, I love attention so here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to distract you all by catching a stringer full of small fries while the people really responsible for this mess get off scott free."

To answer Lou Dobbs, "No, the political elites have not gone mad", they just want you to think that they have.

The reality over appearance is easily cleared up with a proper historical perspective of the last 35 years of political and economic manipulation by the same elite who now bring us the NAU.

This paper will explore this history in order to give the reader a complete picture of the NAU, how it is made possible, who are the instigators of it, and where it is headed.

It is important to first understand that the impending birth of the NAU is a gestation of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government, not the Congress. This is the topic of the first discussion below.

The next topic will examine the global elite's strategy of subverting the power to negotiate trade treaties and international law with foreign countries from the Congress to the President. Without this power, NAFTA and the NAU would never have been possible.

After this, we will show that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is the immediate genetic and necessary ancestor of the NAU.

Lastly, throughout this report the NAU perpetrators and their tactics will be brought into the limelight so as to affix blame where it properly belongs. The reader will be struck with the fact that the same people are at the center of each of these subjects.

Could it be that it is not within his constitutional jurisdiction of authority.... and those who do have the power are willing to have theirs usurped by the elite and the administration rather than assert their authority?

Actually, you have as much authority as he does, as a sovereign American citizen. What is your answer to this same question?

Besides.... this thread is not about what Joe Arpaio is doing..... it is about a threat and bounty on his life by criminal drug cartel.

Could it be because he's just a sheriff, and is a street-level law enforcer, and unfortunately, the "small fries" are his mandated quarries ?

So you don't want police officers in Arizona to go after these guys by asking for ID when they break the law...

But you want U.S. forces to illegally enter Mexico to do the same?

If you read my posts you see the consistency of one thing. I don't want Arizona Police inhibiting personal rights to US Citizens such as detaining without warrent or observation of criminal activity of a US Citizen for 48 hours. Illegal immegrants should be dealt with and I've offered several suggestions on how to do that without limiting peoples rights who are lawful US citizens. And who says it has to be illegal. With Mexico's war on drugs I'm sure the Mexican government would like our support taking out a few cartels.

I have lived in Mexico (and currently live along the border) and I'm sure an invasion would NOT be appreciated. They only want our $ and technology.

One way to be certain that they don't get that is 1) not hiring them. 2) Not buying drugs from them. 3) not letting our companies opperate there or severely tax them if they do and 4) not give Mexico financial Aid.

As for ER's If when treating an illegal immegrent we discover that they are they should be reported to ICE who should detain them and send them back once treatment has been procured.

I believe policies like these would go a lot further to stemming the flow of illegal immegrants than rounding people up. And if Mexico is so anti american. Then I'm certain they won't be any better disposed if we stop funding their government and their economy. Certainly, if a company wants to operate in mexico they should be welcomed to as long as they understand they will be more heavily taxed than if they operated in the US.

No I'm opposed to the language in the Law that would result in officers detaining perfectly good US citizens because they look mexican without a warrent for 48 hours which would violate our rights as us Citizens. Not all Latinos are Mexican or illegal.,

It is completely outrageous that a drug cartel would do such a thing!

I think the U.S. government should first find out if this is a legitimate threat. If it is they should locate this crime boss and perhaps send a drone and use any means necessary to persuade him that this threat is both unwise and will not be tolerated.

If anyone in Mexico should actually carry out a threat like this, the U.S. government should target everyone involved and send them to that big siesta in the sky.

So asking someone in the U.S. for a driver's license is an undue hardship...

But gunning down innocent Mexicans in Mexico by U.S. troops just because they look like drug runners is ok with you?

This "send troops into to Mexico to get the bad guys" from the same folks who don't even want police officers to ask law breakers for a driver's license in Mexico sounds like a bit of over compensating to me.

Brings to mind Obama during the campaign who wanted troops out of Iraq now - but also was proposing dropping nukes on Pakistan. :laugh:

Of course you didn't read what I said. The law provides for more than asking a simple question. American citizens aren't required by law to carry a drivers license at all times no matter what. So, if I'm out walking with out a license and I happen to be in an area where Sheriff Joe is rounding up mexican and one of his enforcement officers asked to see my license, being unable to present it to him the sherrif can then detain me, a perfectly good US citizen compliant with the law, without a warrent or me having committed a crime, for 48 hours. Not only have my rights been violated but I've been given an undue hardship.

Back to pretending not to understand the law again I see.

At this point I am tired or explaining and re-explaining and re-explaining why you are wrong.

After all the discussion on this - I can only conclude that you either choose not to understand or are purposely misrepresenting.
