    We need to stay out of this. This is a democratic revolution, but with a little meddling, I imagine it could become a Muslim uprising really soon.

    My concern is that Islamic extremists may try to use the current unrest in Egypt to further their goals of making that nation into one that's governed by sharia law.

    Egypt is one of the very few Arab nations that has a peace treaty with Israel.

    Also, let's not forget that it controls the Suez Canal, a major waterway for international shipping.

    The Suez canal is a HUGE asset to the Edyptian people, and I do not believe they will hand it over to Islam without a fight. They want goods going thru there, and they want to capitalize on it,

    They also built a wall to keep Palestinian refugees out.

    Speaking of Israel, this means they will have to rethink their defense doctrine.

    Hopefully, what is going on in Egypt will eventually result in a representative form of government.
