I am wondering what some of you think if an elder is not making the kind of disciples Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19, 20 then is he a false teacher simply because he does not do what he is to be leading in. In the latter part of that passage baptizing and teaching them to observe all he commanded modifies the command to make disciples. The command being to not just make disciples but to make a certain kind of disciple. Teaching them to observe all he commanded would mean both instruction and doing. I see the Bible as addressing both correct doctrine and correct practice. Teaching is to be both of those and not just one.

Not a false teacher - maybe a poor one or could be uninformed.....
