ESV or NASB

    Sometimes, the cost of using a particular translation (royalties) can be too much.

    Back in 1995, I was at an "Experiencing God" conference and Henry Blackaby was speaking. Dr. Blackaby was asked why the "Experiencing God" Study Bible was only available using the NKJV and not the NIV. He said the royalties for using the NIV were cost prohibitive.
