With this, and his hiring of Elton John for his wedding, I would say el-Rushbo reaches out to the other side more than prez zero does.

I never had respect for him to begin with...

Ditto.

And what is there to consider about this? You have an extremely vulgar cartoon obviously written and produced by non-Christians and you have a non-Christian (in my own opinion) celebrity as a special guest voice-over.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. :flower:

Actually Rush has insinuated that he might be born again - but has not directly stated either way.

This is the reason I started this thread because supposedly Rush believes in family values and then to do this show.? He even stated today that he know sometimes the show goes over the line...

So I suppose the question is how far over the line does someone go before we start to / totally loose respect. For example - Larry King asked Dr. Dobson if Muslims were going to Hell, Dobson, replied he was not a theologian...
That night I strted to loose respect for Dobson.

Why avoid the topic? A believer shouldn't be ashamed to admit they are a believer.

I'd like to see a citation on that. I've been unable to locate it. Dobson is a pretty straight talker. In fact, I've found a quote of him on Larry King saying that Muslims (and any one that hasn't accepted Jesus Christ as Savior) will go to hell.

I have never seen the show myself.

How does it go over the line?

I can't lose respect for Limbaugh because I never had any. He does have a cool bass guitar riff on his intro music, though.

So you don't even have the respect for Mr. Limbaugh due him as your elder?

He's too worried about correcting people's spelling (hey he was at the top of his gifted class in middle school!). He doesn't have time for respect!

But he would also justify saying it by telling you that Republicans claim to be the party of family values - while Democrats don't.

As though that justifys the Dems.

And since he is not a Dem., but a family values supporting Rep., what does he say?

Something along those lines. It's amazing how political alignment can influence everything, including sense of humor. Colbert is a vulger twerp, but apparently good Christians think he's just great.
