In the winter when we're snowed in, nothing beats a good long game of Monopoly. Usually my 10 year old wins, though.

I like most board games except scrabble. It's too boring for me. I'd rather play something more detailed, like chess or clue or risk.

first, I want to know why this got left in this forum and my question about games you play away from the bb got moved to another forum????? mmmmmmm????

I love Scrabble, but my youngest son is such a hateful Scrabble player, he's taken all the fun out of it. And the way I like to joke around (y'all hadn't noticed, I know. So I thought I'd mention it.) Well, that just infuriates him in a Scrabble game! So I quit playing. *bleh* on having children. I think I'll give him back. :tongue3:

Hey, Bitsy, wanna trade kids? LOL!

I don't really like board games. But I force myself to play occasionally with the family...

I love to play scrabble ........ there`s a game on BT /Yahoo called bookworm, it is a spelling game as well, I `waste a bit of time on that` my husband dislikes board games, he is an avid bookworm though (always has his head stuck in the newspaper or a detective story).
