I love to listen to Voddie Baucham and Louie Giglio, among others. I have several of their studies on CD and DVD, and wondered what you guys thought of them, if at all.

Voddie Baucham was at the MBC Evangelism Conference in Springfield last January. He was a fantastic speaker. I see your location is listed in Missouri - are you going this January?

Charles Swindoll and Tony Campolo top the list for me. Floyd McClung has written some great books in the past although I have only got to hear him speak the once. Ed Silvoso is another great speaker.

I have seen on this board that when you mention your favorite (or even well-liked) speaker, there will always be someone that thinks that person is "of the devil."

After having said that, I will say that I enjoy listening to Adrian Rogers. It's not his style that I like so much, but his insight.

Also, I enjoy listening to "Through the Bible" on the radio. I have temporarliy forgotten the name of speaker, but it will come to me shortly.

    "Until next time, my beloved..."

I love Bro. Rogers as well... After careful thought, and what I'm sure will make me very umpopular with some posters here... here's my list (in no particular order):

    Voddie Baucham
    Dave Edwards
    Tony Evans
    Louie Giglio
    Wes Hamilton
    David Jeremiah
    Beth Moore
    John Piper
    Adrian Rogers

Each of these men have spoken to me at various times in my life... and I have grown under their teaching at various camps, conferences, services or through video studies. I also enjoy the teaching and books of Mrs. Moore. She is also quite insightful to the Word. There's my (revised) list.

On the radio I enjoy David Jeremiah and Adrian Rogers. In person I really enjoyed listening to Dick Lincoln (Pastor of Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia SC), his preaching was quite powerful. Merry Christmas to all who post/read here. Bruce

Its actually hard for me to say. The only ones that come on the local channels are Pentacostal. When i get a chance to listen to the radio and hear David Jeremiah I usually enjoy it.

I did enjoy "the Body" by Charles Colson. I also believe that Milliard J. Erikson did some good writing in his text Christian Theology (2nd Edition). Although I usually like more simplistic writing styles I found the book to be helpful.

    In Christ,

    Brooks
