In the hearing, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked Sanborn on Tuesday, "How many FBI agents or confidential informants actively participated in the events of January 6th?"

"Sir, I’m sure you can appreciate that I can’t go into the specifics of sources and methods...," Sanborn began to answer.

It was stunning. How can they not realize how bad it makes them look.

I guess they figure they will play the long stall game, obstruct and obfuscate until people don’t care any more.

I agree, every one not to be trusted.

Problems go all the way back to the (snip) Hoover. How can you build an ethical working agency, when the founding leader had a file on every power player in DC and used that to cover activities from being scrutinized?

Were not folks taught that the public has no guaranteed right to know, and that authority may engage in what is illegal for a citizen to do, just for some ethereal good?

Perhaps there is something in the thinking that the law Inforcement needs to be heavily investigated including the total of the Justice department. Some areas completely disassembled, reworked, and held to higher standards.

What caused the Oklahoma City bombing? Waco citizens being assaulted and eventually burned to death. What caused Waco? Ruby Ridge? What caused Ruby ridge? FBI exceeding their authority and blaming others so they were not accountable.

I am not in any manner suggesting insurrection. Such thinking is wrong.

I am stating that a general replacement of corrupt folks must take place, and defunding certain agencies and activities is long over due.
