Liberals have been unceasing in attacking the Patriot Act. What I've noticed through the years is while liberals are the first to scream about "tolerance" and even have a significant portion of the minority vote won by their rhetoric about "tolerance," liberals are far more intolerant than conservatives could ever hope to be - especially against time-honored traditions the majority of Americans hold dear.

Should Kerry be elected, this is what he promises (from the Internet):

"Unprecedented activity to make American safer?"

What can this mean? It really seems ominous to me, especially considering coming from someone who is so liberal, he is even on the left of Teddy Kennedy!

Americans need to stop and think about Kerry's weighty words when it comes to national security - what sinister plot to take away our Constitutional Rights could this liberal/socialist have in mind, if any?

We already see the hypocrisy of the left - sending IRS spies into churches to see if there is any political speech. Fine for them, though, how many (black) churches has Kerry been stumping in the past several days? Here is another example of the liberal doublespeak, double standard - one for them, another for everyone else.

Fear. I mean REALLY FEAR....if this liberal/socialist wins the election. Our Civil Liberties may be in far more jeopardy than any damage the Bush Patriot Act could ever do!

Kerry, if elected, will pretty much continue Bush's policies, just as Bush continued Clinton's.

Bush moved Clinton's leftward, maybe Kerry would be more conservative. But it will probably be more on the level of adjustments than big changes.

Here is an email I recieved today:

In 1964 I was told that if I voted for Barry Goldwater instead of Lyndon B. Johnson, the war in Vietnam would be escalated. I voted for Barry Goldwater and the war in Vietnam was escalated. Lyndon B. Johnson, who ran a slanderous campaign (what’s new), was elected and The Great Society was thrust upon us. I and 28 million other voters will never be ashamed of the vote we cast for Barry Goldwater in that 1964 election. This is not true for most presidential elections and there is not usually such a clear-cut choice. Therefore, we tend to vote for the “lesser of two evils” in the majority of cases. The exception, I believe, was Ronald Reagan.

This election, we are told by conservatives, is the most important election in our lifetime. This election, they tell us, will have a great impact on the life of every American. I have to say that these claims are inaccurate at the very least.

I was born during an administration that tried to lead us into a socialistic utopia and under a President who referred to one of the world’s most monstrous leaders as “Uncle Joe”

Of course, I refer to President Roosevelt and his obsession with Josef Stalin, a diabolical murderer of millions. This was truly an administration that adversely affected the American way of life.

That brings us to Harry Truman an American folk hero today. At the time of his administration he was one of the most unpopular leaders of his era. He decided not to run in 1952 because he did not want to be embarrassed in the election. His administration was filled with Communists and communist sympathizers. He brought us into the United Nations whose charter was written by communists and the lives of American citizens have never been the same.

In 1952 the American wing of the Republican Party wanted to nominate Taft as their presidential candidate. This would not do for the globalists for they needed an internationalist at the helm, thus enters Dwight D. Eisenhower. President Eisenhower did nothing to stop the expansion of Communism, failing even to support Hungary when freedom lovers in that country tried to throw off the yoke of Communist tyranny.

In 1960 Joseph Kennedy, a renowned rumrunner, bought the election for his son John F. Kennedy. He actually did a pretty good job and for that he was assassinated in 1963. The much more compliant Lyndon B. Johnson succeeded him. This administration brought us The Great Society, which through Medicare and Medicaid has all but ruined our health care system. His war on poverty has not resulted in any significant reduction in poverty and has left the taxpayers who were forced to support his programs much poorer indeed. Guess what? We lived through all of this and if John Kerry happens to defeat George Bush we will live through that. The same principle applies if George Bush defeats John Kerry. Life will go on.

My point is simply this; do not be afraid to cast your vote for the Constitution Party Presidential candidate Michael Peroutka (www.peroutka2004.com). He is the best candidate running and each and every vote that he receives is a victory for Christian liberty. The pundits are right, we are at a crossroads. It is time to take a stand for American values. Our Lord is sovereign and He reigns, so vote not for the “lesser of two evils” but rather vote for the contrast to the evil that pervades both parties. Pull that lever for the Constitution Party candidates in your state, including Michael Peroutka (www.godfamilyrepublic.com) and wake up Wednesday morning with a clear conscience knowing that you have done your duty, the event being in the hands of God.

    In Christ,
    Cal Wortman

Does anybody know of or possess any information that shows Kerry's support of the Viet Nam war while LBJ was president?

Did he turn off his support when Nixon was elected?

I already voted for Michael Peroutka. Was just throwing this out here to see what responses there would be. Not surprisingly, liberals did not respond, LOL. [IMG]

The president only has the ability to mess up foreign policy. Domestic stuff is under the control of Congress.

    I don't think so, LE:

    Prescription drug plan...trillions of dollars.

"No child left alone"...federal control over childrens' education.

    Increased funding for Planned Parenthood.

    Etc. etc. etc.

PA Jim, don't you mean billwald, not LE? I didn't defend Bush, billwald did.

I voted for Peroutka with a totally clear conscience. [IMG]
