A good point, I suppose. Yet there is no divine right which allows Christians to impose our particular morals on nonChristians. When it has been tried historically, the results have been horrible.

Tell that to the person that would want to break into your house and murder you...

After all you have no rights to tell him or her that it would be wrong to do so....

Excellent point. Kind of like the saying "we are to be fishers of men, not cleaners of fish". No matter how much any one person, or group of people, tries to convict "the immoral" it will not happen. That is not our job or our responsibility. That alone falls to God.

Isn't that different, though? One is a crime against another person. Homosexuality is a personal matter, a personal choice. We should concentrate more on bringing people to Christ, rather than trying to convict/convince others that they are wrong. Why should we expect the unsaved to understand our moral compass?

Are you suggesting we support secular standards? How do you involve yourself in the community and separate yourself from "imposing" godly and biblical standards?

I believe your argument can be used for prostitution, illicit drug use and a myriad of other "victimless" crimes commited by people making personal choices. Shall we legalize these crimes as well?

Oh, come, now. The difference between someone breaking into my house and someone being gay is so vast that your hyperbole collapses under its own weight. Come back with a valid point and we'll talk.

I suppose it comed down to how you define Godly and Biblical standards. I have a feeling you and I define them quite differently.

Prostitution is not a victimless crime.

As to the rest, why not?

No doubt. And therein lies the real conversation. Everything else is peripheral.

That's a very odd thing to say. How so?

Each of the participants are physically victimizing each other as their behavior leads to sickness and death.

Each of the participants are victimizing each other relationally as it is uncommon for the homosexuals, particularly males, to maintain monogamous relationships. (Admittedly, today this is a huge problem amongst heterosexual couples as well.)

There are additional pitfalls with this lifestyle as there is a 3 times or better likelihood of suicide, there are a myriad of STDs other than HIV such as syphilis, anal cancer, rectal gonorrhea, genital herpes and a host of other natural consequences for unnatural behavior.

There is further victimization performed by organizations such as public schools teaching children that this behavior is acceptable and then children growing up to engage in this behavior and they too are stuck down by the consequences of their actions.

Further victimization is perpetrated by a newsmedia that is in support of this behavior, as they will saturate reports of Matthew Shephard but will be silent regarding Jesse Dirkhising. This manipulates the sentiment of people to be sympathetic to a homosexual victim of heterosexual violence but be ignorant of a heterosexual victim of homosexual violence.

Most importantly, there is a spiritual victimization as well, which I think we've already covered but the Bible says this behavior is an abomination to God and those who engage in it will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Finally, victimization is performed by people who are not homosexual when they encourage this behavior as being acceptable. These individuals think they are demonstrating love but it's not Biblical love to not warn people of sin and the temporal and eternal consequences of sin.

Thus, I do not believe that sodomy is a victimless crime.

Don't forget the damage done to families that have been ripped apart. Men growing up to 'discover' that they are sodomites and divorcing their wives, leaving them to raise children. Sodomy is a curse upon this nation. Think of the children, TP.

As far as I'm concerned, the blood of Ryan White is on their hands.

According to your logic the students are the victims of the teacher for getting them into trouble.
