Full story, he was driving a non registered trailer and transporting fuel illegally.
From what I read, he had already soaked the 2000+ Qurans with kerosene and was driving around with them seemingly in one of those trailer/bbq's. The sheriff said he was basically driving around with a bomb waiting to happen. Also there was an illegal firearm charge.
If all accurate, no doubts but its early in the reporting, he was being a danger to himself and others.
At worst, that's a pair of traffic tickets. How do they justify an arrest? Even if he is a nutball.http://news.yahoo.com/fla-pastor-arrested-could-burn-qurans-223237072.html

Two thousand "kerosene soaked anything" isn't as serious as a few hundred gallons of kerosene, which I agree should get you detained. But it still doesn't stand up to an arrest.Depends on the state really, though riding around with 2000+ kerosene soaked anything is bound to get you at least detained. The firearm charge is another matter all together, that will get you arrested for sure.
