GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. - A sheriff in north Florida says he will deputize "every lawful gun owner" in his county if protests turn violent.

Yes, but it's just south of Jacksonville. Maybe it's an open invitation for Jacksonvillians to seek refuge, if their own municipality becomes too complacent, or to encourage them to demand a similar response from their own authorities. Or maybe it can serve as a model for the country. Enough of all the Marxist nonsense.
