I don't trust "ood" either...from China or here.

Especially since I don't know what "ood" is.

Doctor Who fans know who the Ood are. :)

Oh, wait, she probably didn't mean Ood as a who. Um... nevermind.

    Ignoring Facts and Personal Testimony

I'm very shocked to see the closing remarks supporting the general promotion of fluoride use.

standingfirminChrist provided us with the following shocking facts on fluoride:
BaptistBoard member tinytim provided a testimony by reporting getting "deathly sick" as a child from eating "only about a teaspoonful" of toothpaste.

Was tinytim lying to us? Did he make this up? Is he an untrustworthy source? From my research and from reading tinytim's other posts, I believe him!

I gave my family's testimony of being cavity-free for four years straight without using fluoride in any form (toothpaste, water, etc.). We've used Tom's fluoride-free toothpaste (Click Here!). Finding fluoride-free toothpaste is Easy (Click Here!). When it is so easy to provide our families with safe toothpaste, how can we knowingly choose poison for our loved-ones?

The results of my family proves that flossing and brushing after meals and trying to eat healthy, through practice of good oral and health hygene, leads to healthy teeth without ingesting well-known poison by swallowing and absorbtion through mouth and throat membranes. When I asked my dentist which toothpaste was the best, over four years ago, he told me that I could use anything, even Ivory soap; all that matters is that you remove the plaque that leads to cavities and gum disease.

On August 9, 2007, the Associated Press reported the following:
With all of this evidence that fluoride is not required for healthy teeth and that it is deadly poison (as printed right on the bottle itself!), I pray that all will see the plain truth, that when the ADA promotes fluoride as safe and effective, we will look at the facts of fluoride toothpaste-caused death and sickness and, united, instead of blindly swallowing the ADA's poison propaganda, both figuratively and literally, we will "have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." (from Ephesians 5:8-11).

Sadly, at the present time, most Americans are literally swallowing the ADA's fluoride propaganda, the ADA's Soma, blissfully and blindly marching in lock-step as model compliant citizens in this brave new world.

Challenge the status-quo to decipher good from evil.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

So, what is God's plan for keeping our teeth/mouth healthy and durable if it isn't flouride? Certainly if we're going to hold on to the Intelligent Design theory there must be some flower or plant that can do that since they can clean the rest of us off. And were is the medical research proving that they work (I'm just asking for personal purposes, of course)?

Dried Iris Flower - natural toothpaste history!

    Dear UncharteredSpirit,

God's plan for keeping our teeth/mouth healthy and durable without flouride has been around for thousands of years, as will be shown in the enclosed article reference and snips, below.

Dental plaque is a biofilm (usually of a clear color) that builds up on the teeth. If not removed regularly, it can lead to dental cavities (caries) or periodontal problems (such as gingivitis). This is the medical cause for cavities and periodontal problems. Therefore, removing dental plaque is the medical cure for keeping our teeth/mouth healthy and durable.

I and my family are now going on four years, cavity-free, using fluoride-free toothpaste.

As you will now see in the following article snips, at least one written/documented recipie for toothpaste has been around for well over a thousand years, and it still proves to be very effective!

I'm not a nay-sayer, only pointing out negatives, but my mission for the past ~14 years has been to be a solutions-provider through the InfoQuest* for Truth Christian Ministry at http://www.ErichLukas.com

For example, earlier in this thread, I provide a link to a multitude of fluoride-free toothpastes that can be ordered via the Internet:

You can click here to learn about the toxic poisons found in many house-hold cleaners and learn of natural (from God's natural Creation) alternatives: Click Here!

Personally, when I run out of TheraBreath non-fluoride toothpaste (I have recently begun using this; my family continues to use Tom's), I use baking soda. Baking soda is salty, but it's natural, fluoride-free, and works wonderfully!

Here are some snips from the article:

"A Tale of Ancient Toothpaste" by David Catchpoole

Read the rest of this eye-opening article at Answers in Genesis Here:

    Typical right-wingnut-paranoia propaganda :(
I.e. more like lies than 'hidden truths' :(
BTW 'occult'* means 'hidden truths' :(

*The Occult is damned by the Bible

BTW, I'm a right winger both in politics & religion.
I was also born in the area within about 50 miles
of a line drawn from Amarllo, Texas to Lubbok, Texas
that has natural flouride in the water (not labeled).
    It was the improved

    Flouride paranoia is crying wolf.
Tooth Decay kills more people than
    flouride poisining.

    Amen, Bro. Ed.

Have you ever noticed how the word "truth" is used by the consiracy nuts constantly to describe their crackpot ideas? Opposite speak, just like the President uses!

Secular means "good," but do we still use the word in that context, especially here. We aren't idolizing/worshipping paronia or alternatives here so how can you call whatever links you read an occult!? More importantly can you find anything out of Stanford's or prominent medical schools claiming cleaning methods other than flouride don't work against tooth decay?

    Uncharted Spirit - thanks.

To those who, for some reason, continue to swallow well-documented poison as per the CDC and other organizations, enough has been posted on this thread to show the plain danger of fluoride that I'm shaking the dust off of my sandals and moving on.

If anyone believes that the information at ErichLukas.com is "wingnut" (information on InfoQuest* for Truth comes from the American Family Association, Focus on the Family, the JBS, Family Research Council, Answers in Genesis, etc.), then by all means, create a new thread to try to disprove the information.

Regarding fluoridated water, I'll close with this snip from here:

Amen, Brother Magnetic Poles -- Preach it!

I made my decision about the JBS and Fluoride
back in like 1956. I see no reason to study
the matter further. I'm concerned about the
wing-nut 'Global Warming Is A Hoax' movement.
Tis a shame that a Billion humans may die prematurely
in the next hundred years and we sit around worring
about a few hundred toothpaste nibblers getting sick?

What are you talking about? There isn't one single problem or issue raised in this board that doesn't make me feel bad, down, or panic-tricken? How can you worry about just one single thing; the very thing that you're probably too old to do anything about?

I was born in Borger, Texas in 1943 and
lived in Amarillo, Texas until I was about 4 years old?
The average age I was expected to live was 60 years old.
The tap water was laced with naturally occuring
Flourine. I'm 63 years old and the greatest
threats to my life healthwise is: Heart disease, Cancer &
Stroke -- not injesting a flourine salt.
My problem is with Sodium, the element in the
Periodic Chart of the Elements above Florine.
(excess Sodium is a risk factor both heart disease
and Stroke and may increase the risk of cancer.)

In 1956 'blood poisoning' was in the top ten
leading causes of death. About 10% of the
'blood poisining' came from bacteria entering
the blood system thru the mouth -- read that:
    complications of dental disease.
