For KJVO only, I ask you one question concerning a few of KJV editions. Please answer this question.

    um, i know i'm peering in, but what on earth's a KJBO-Only?

is that tertiary separation over revisions of the KJB, or those who r more only-ist than onlyist?

At least by the poll we can see that we who are labeled as KJVO are rather balanced, but then I don't guess I've ever even seen a 1982 KJB, Oh! you meant a nkjv! Well that just blew my thinking! nkjv isn't even in league.

Sorry askjo, but I can't consider the poll valid to include nkjv in the running, it should have been in the mv only as Diane had complained about.

When was GOD'S WORD not perfect as He presented it? When did it need purified ONCE, let alone 7 times?

    gasp, u didn't know?

the KJB stands 7th in line in the purifying of BIBLES ... http://www.concentric.net/~Rwcamp/wordpure.htm

and the 1769KJB is 7th in the line of purification for REVISIONS ... http://lighthouse-baptist.net/Genesis-God.shtml#God

i bet it's also the 7th in the line of ENGLISH bibles as well!

n w the popularity of the NIV n ESV, perhaps it will also become the 7th most popular bible before long [IMG]

    1. Some said NKJV is modern version.

    2. Some said they defend the KJV and NKJV, but they denied it is corrupted.

God's Word purified 7 times do nothing with KJV history.

It talks about HOW POWERFUL God's Word is.

    In Christ
    Rev. 22:20 - Amen!

    1611 KJV -- 38%

    1769 KJV -- 31%

    NKJV -- 23%

    21 Century KJV -- 8%

    KJV II -- 0%

I viewed the results of poll today -- 3/2/04.

How different! Look at 1611 KJV and 1769 KJV. The 1611 KJV leads!

Maybe it was the Bible of choice for James II, a Catholic who reigned 3 years (1685-1688) and was deposed?

The "purified seven times" concept is one of the more blasphemous arguments from the KJVO myth. ANYTHING God does is pure from the beginning.
