For My Wife

    My wife will be leaving, God willing, on the train [a 17 hour trip] Thursday to present her dissertation to the national board at the university.

    She is a pianiist and must play with a soprano to demonstrate some of the material in her thesis. She had an ear injury from loud sound in August and has had some continuing problems with her ear and dizziness. Pray for her health and protection.

    Thank you, all, for your prayers, mentioned or unmentioned.

    The day before she left on the train, Carmen walked into something on the street and got a nasty bumb on her head. It was not serious, but embarrasing. Even the cab driver mentioned it.

    I just spoke with Carmen. She had her board while I snored [It is 4 pm over there, now] and has completed her degree, summa cum laude.

    So this is a PRAISE report!

    She will leave for the train station now for the 17 hour ride back to her school where she is teaching.
