Again, this debt isn't Obama's is the DNC's... Also, since this isn't what our congress would call an emergency, you point makes no sense.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. When will we band together and talk about real problems and not these petty, silly, stupid things? Do you want Obama in office for another four years?

 

A little off topic, but since we are complaining :laugh: . What I don't like is how every new president comes into the white house and spends millions of dollars redecorating it, and before anyone jumps on any one person, they all have done this. But talk about a pure waste of money. They redecorate what is basically a palace anyway just for their own vain pleasure. I could understand if in their own personal living rooms they wanted to bring in a little of their things to feel comfortable or even add a few things (of course why don't they just buy them themselves like every other person in the country). But why do they have to redecorate the entire white house at the cost of millions, when most of it is either offices or practically a museum area?

OK feel free to go back to bashing Obama for anything he might do because you can't stand him, or defend him for the same things because you are crazy about him.

 

You mean for the bailout package which was about the same size as the Republican bailout package? By the way, what did we get from Bush's bailout?

 

IMO to avoid confusion if you are not taking claim for words put quotation marks around them. Especially in thread titles because by not doing so it will look like you thought about what title you chose to go with. Matter of fact, if it were me and I didn't agree with the title I would probably say Article says" such and such" in the title and then post something to the affect of what do you think or I do or don't agree.

 

Your post won't go over well because you're making sense. You see, people can copy and paste from a News article WITHOUT taking claim that they agree with the article. At least that is what some users around here want us to believe when they get caught up in a bad title like this.

I agree with you in that I will change a title to better match the article if I am posting one and don't agree with the 'slant' the website has given it.

 

I will ask this. Since this news article is clearly wanting to connect the dots with Obama even though it's not his debt, if you're a good moderator how about changing the title of this thread to better match the topic or delete this thread or close it.

Since it can be proven that it's the DNC's responsibility to pay this debt and not Obama let's see what kind of moderator you are. Or else we can all assume what we will about you.

There was only one "bailout" and it was in 2008. I did not support the bailout either.

Accountability has to start somewhere someone once told me recently in these forums. If they just pay for things without reading it, you get them... If they review it and then pay it, you get them...

It's also very different in their minds that paying this bill is just 'another bill' Getting the stimulus though was due to the sky falling... Sense of Urgency I think it what they would call it.

In this thread, it doesn't matter who you are, or what your 'record' is. If the article title didn't fit, like it was easily shown, then the title should have been changed. Unless you meant to try to take a jab at Obama, then it wouldn't have mattered to you.

It has become increasingly clear where you stand with Obama with the way you moderate some threads. I am not a Liberal, but I will "cry" foul when I see what I find over stepping their bounds in the name of moderation. As you put it, you can look at my record and posts and see I am a level headed guy that tends to side with the side of fair. You can call it whatever you would like.

Either way, I have posted a link you asked for, where the DNC and not Obama is responible for this debt. The title the news agent gave it is clearly biased.

 

You don't know me, but it hardly matters what you believe or disbelieve.

The people I debate with here each day, know where I stand with Obama, if you don't know then you're not paying attention.
