Forgiving yourself

    We can choose what to feel guilty about. We can also choose not to feel guilty.

    I can understand that you are concerned that you did not do your duty, but one cannot know for sure if another person goes to heaven or hell.

    That is between that person and God.

    Your grandmother was 97 and a catholic. She had probably heard the plan of salvation during her lifetime. And we can hope that she was saved and went to heaven.

    This is definitely a lesson in not waiting until it is too late to tell someone about Jesus, but I hope that you will forgive yourself.

    Also, remember that we can only tell people about our Lord and Savior...tell them the plan of salvation, the Holy Spirit does the rest.
