ORLANDO, Fla. (BP)--Eddie Taubensee spent 11 seasons as a catcher in Major League Baseball until a back injury cut his career short.

Although he didn’t know it at the time, that injury actually opened a door for him to expand his ministry.

“Eleven years in the big leagues, and I am having more fun now than I ever did,” Taubensee said.

Good testimony, but you said he was a professional athlete and his testimony said he played for Cincinnati.

Howard Johnson (HoJo)- former Met third baseman - and current hitting instructer for the Binhamton Mets - was the chapel speaker at Practical Bible College - for "College Days" last Friday!

Jan has his autograph on an 8x10 glossy from the era of his playing days!

    Hmmm...

Gary Carter, HoJo, Rusty Staub, Nolan Ryan...
