Iyt looks like an apparent murder-attempted suicide.

I hope he lives long enough to be found guilty & executed. After being judged guilty, that is.

Why is his political affiliation an issue to you? Don't you think it's just a bit hypocritical of you to condemn Republicans for one man's actions (actions which haven't even been substantiated, by the way), while you have as your signature, a quote from a drunk who drowned his secretary, left her to die, and then made jokes about it afterward?

On the other hand, I guess "liberal" and "hypocrite" are redundant, anyway.

Post #3 and yet another personal attack. Do you defend him because he is a Republican? If you knew how to search, you will notice I always include party affiliation, and have done so when Democrats are out of line as well.

Also notice the title of the story I linked to did the exact same thing.

Now get back on topic.

What personal attack?

His questons were valid.

And BTW, why do you have your Kenndy signature if you are concerned about the actions of politicians in terms of morals?

What allows you to hold Kennedy up in this way as someone to be emulated for his concerns for the welfare of others. In his personal life, when he had a real and concrete opportunity to act on his supposed concerns for the welfare of another - he literally walked away and did nothing.

Please show evidence that post #3 contains a personal attack.

Nope. I don't defend or condemn him because I don't know enough about it. And I'm not a Republican, by the way. I just stated that his party affiliation has nothing to do with anything.

Don't you realize that he committed murder because he is a Republican?

And there's no good in asking M.P. to prove, or back up anything he says. It's so because he says it's so.

Go back and read. Calling me a hypocrite is pretty much a personal attack. You are so nasty that you don't even realize when you do it, I guess. We'll have to call you Curtis Junior. :tongue3:

"Don't you think it's just a bit hypocritical of you to..."

That is your idea of a "personal attack"?

Now saying, "You are so nasty..." is more along the lines of a personal attack.

Are you aware that you just said that?

Would it be a personal attack to suggest that such behavior on your part may be hypocritical?

This is a total tragedy for everyone involved in this sad affair and their families.

I think we should pray for the families rather than go off on petty rabbit tracks with each other.

It would be, except I figure sauce for the goose.

Besides, I made a valiant effort back around the first of the year to elevate the level of discourse here, but not a person wanted to go along. Now, every thread degenerates into attack mode.

I have not seen the hate and vitriol on atheist boards that I see here regularly.

You could always choose not to participate rather than demean yourself by stooping to everyone else's level. :)
