Hey Sherrie, aren't you glad I started this thread? In the process of interaction you have learned that you don't have to live with your old password, but can change it as you would change your clothing... [IMG]

I'm here! Well, I just came in here for the first time! It's a busy life being a "Professional Domesticated Executive" you know!

I won't even get into that password thing! Can't keep my kid's names straight even if I tried! I finally just resorted to calling my Henry, Jenry! Cause I keep starting to call him Jt and stop myself.
Since the dog died I haven't called my granddaughter Patch anymore!

[IMG] I'm glad God made me unique!
    God Bless!

Hey Becky, so you are a Professional Domesticated Executive - huh? Did not know we had such a high class of executives here. I better tip toe from now on into this forum, cause I don't want to disturb the nobility... [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Sore throat? You need the treatment of the gypsies.........a little vinegar in a saucepan on the cooker top and then gently inhale through your mouth,,,,,,not too much at once cos it can knock you out,,,,,,,,but for sure,,,the sore throat is goneeeeeeee.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Oh poor Diane! So sorry that you've got a sore throat. Maybe Brother Jim's remedy will cure you, but you must try it first. I remember my maternal Grandma doing something like that back in Hungary. She was the firm believer that vinegar cured it all. They used vinegar for almost everything. So try Jim's remedy and please GET WELL! [IMG]

By the way Brother Jim, what kind of vinegar you recommend? White, fruit, or apple cider vinegar? There are so many types here in the US you know. Sometimes it is hard to select the right one. My wife, fore example, uses apple cider vinegar with honey in a cup of warm water and drinks it regularly in the morning. It helped her reduce the enzyme in her liver. But it is good to battle against rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, and a score of other ailments. [IMG]

    Brother Barnabas,
We use good old malt vinegar. Another interesting note on vinegar, this same procedure is used by the big opera stars before they perform. Does wonders on the vocal chords.....might be great for long-winded preachers too.

Vinegar was one of the earliest medicines. It does have a 1001 uses, but is great on insect bites, sunburn, regular burns and even sores on the skin. It is a great footbath for sore and aching feet.......Gypsies in England used it a lot on horses, and they were masters with horse care.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Hey Barnabas...I pop into this forum most days, but I just now clicked on this thread. I thought it was probably a church member complaining because they were sick for four days and their pastor didn't visit them!

Now that I'm aware of the urgency,I'll make it a point to be a better poster in this section. Anything to help Barnabas! :D

Thanks,Sherrie! I got tired of the old one,and thought it was time for an update. Thanks to the webmaster for putting it on for me. [IMG]

The nice thing about it is that it's so tiny,no wrinkles and flaws are readily apparent. :D

Hi Cindy! It is so nice that you dropped in. And I concure with Sherrie that it is a very nice picture of you. Incidentally I did see this picture on your website (if I am not mistaken). Is that the picture with Peter Furler?

BTW, our prayers are with your Mom and Dad! [IMG]

:D Oh come on Barnabas, Go ahead and disturb! [IMG] After all, I'm used to it with all these kids around here. My Prince likes to have company especially when I'm making my famous homemade Hawaiian Bread Rolls for dinner! Besides! We are always up for the fellowship!

Rebaros, thanks for the invite. My wife and I like to fellowship as well. It is the Baptist way indeed. Through our 36th year of marriage (we married late), there were not many Sundays when we didn't have someone from the church for lunch. I have countless of pictures in boxes, stacked up from these occasions. Some day soon, I shall create a virtual photo gallery from all of those pics. [IMG]

P.S. How do you make Hawaiian Bread Rolls?
