    Especially nice if you have cable modem. Current temp sits on your tool bar. IT's FREE! :D [​IMG]

    Anytime you want your current conditions, storm warnings, etc., just click on the temp on your tool bar for weather updates & map! Nifty! :D

    There are a couple of others, also - weather.com has one and so does accuweather.com.

    I have tried all three and my favorite is Accuweather's. But it is just a matter of personal preference based on arrangement of the data, etc.

    SheEagle911, I had the weather thingy on my computer a few months back, but the free us is actually conditional. You have to ascribe to some kind of service in order to get this free thingy. Then you are bombarded every day by advertisements of all kinds, and then when the free time elapsed they ask you to join for a few dollars, etc. So, after a couple of months of use I removed this service from my computer and since then I look at the weather channel or my localized weather page listed on my email account.     I have not had that problem with the one at accuweather.com.

    So far, so good, no ads. I did check it out again to be sure it was going to remain free, and it is. But if you want upgrades, there's a price. [​IMG]

    Checking out my toolbar, it is now 33 degrees outside. [​IMG]

    Next, I want to check into some streaming news headlines so I can glance at it while working....

    Sometimes use cable modem for work and sometimes use phone line, depending on account, but am always hooked up to cable modem. Typing all these medical reports can be boring, so guess it's time for a few toys. :rolleyes: [​IMG] [​IMG]
