What, you can be a fundamentalist preacher without hollering? Well, we'll let you into our exclusive fellowship then.

The rumours of my death are greatly exaggerated.

I am not going to say 'believing in the holy catholic church'.. even though that is in alot of creeds.. because 'catholic' is a word not only not in the bible.. but the catholic religion is definitely not fundamentalist.[/QUOTE]

There is a differance in the Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic.
The Apostles Creed is not referring to the RCC

"Catholic" means "Universal". Not the RCC. I know, it confused me as a 10-year-old going to the Methodist Church when we recited the Apostle's (sic) Creed.

I voted for Independent Baptist Churches and Southern Baptist Churches. I don't know much about the other Baptist denominations.

Same here, except I worry after visiting the local SBC. They seem to accept pretty much anything these days. Doing joint musical events with the 7th Day adventists???? THAT is frightening. I smell "emerging" !

After a long search and visiting a lot of Baptist churches in Hudson, FL and Spring Hill, FL, I finally found what I am used to up north--an Independant Fundamental Baptist church. Like me, they are pre-trib--unlike other Baptist churches I visited in this area.
