It's too bad there are so many people for whom your post above would have been totally serious, with a  at the end.

Playing cards for fun does not follow under the defintion of gambling. The question was asked,"Should Christians gamble?" NO!! Gambling by defintion is sin, but many liberals want to add to the clear defintion to justify something they say they don't even participate.

Play gambling is playing with sin and taking on the appearance opf evil.

And gambling for fun, and not for greed, covetousness, or any other sinful reason, is likewise permissible.

So you say, but it is in fact liberal religionism to say scripture forbids galmbling, since scripture does not. Scripture forbids many of the things that gambling can lead to, and a Christian who gambles must continue to refrain from abuse and other sins. However, that in and of itself does not make gambling a sin.
Since you have failed to demonstrate what the appearance of evil is that it takes on, you likewise fail to make your claim that gambling is, in and of itself, evil.

Further, you pervert scripture in your use of the phrase "appearance of evil". Scripture is referring to refraining from all forms of evil, not everything that "looks" evil.

I think you would learn about why it's sinful to label people on this thread supporting gambling to determine whether they are liberal or extreme conservatives.
