Yes, please learn that we have a representative Republic and not a constitutional democracy.

 

Even experts cannot agree on what form of government we have. But most agree it is a democratic republic. A constitutional democracy is very close and not worth arguing the difference.

But what all agree on is that it is not a true democracy. Yet every time we see this oligarchy baloney, it is compared against a "democracy". An invalid comparison from the get go.

Yet to say it is an "oligarchy" is grossly inaccurate. That says the populace at large has no say in what goes on at all. Only the few, the elite do. That is grossly inaccurate. When we stop having elections, give me a call.

Yes. It's tiresome. We have enough problems to sound the alarm over, but the goal of some is to bring down the government we have by instilling fear of those invisible puppeteers they say pull all the strings.

Characterizing our form of government incorrectly is the first step in the process. What they really want is anarchy. Nothing else suits their purpose.
