If a person, enslaved to the world, visited the assembly:

1). What are some common attractions that person would recognize?

2). In what would that person see the glory of God?

Pretend that you made an unannounced visit to Ephesus when the Apostle John was the “senior pastor.”

1). What are some common attractions you would recognize?

2). In what would you see the glory of God.

This thread is hopefully one in which the participants explore both some modern and ancient elements by way of comparison and contrasting.
