Germans want USA to spend more blood & money in Afghanistan

    For a country whose word is no good, Germany is now saying that the USA should continue to spend blood and money in Afghanistan. Or as the Germans put it, you Americans are our dog and you should come when we whistle. The Germans are also saying that it is racists for Americans to criticize Germans as deadbeats.

    I wonder if it is a money issue for Merkel. Is the German economy benefitting in some way by war in Afghanistan?

    Good question! I think that the link said that Germany, the richest country in Europe, does not intend to spend 2 % on defense as required by NATO until 2031. I think that the Germans are deadbeats.
