The name has since changed. I don't think the owner meant it the way people took it, but it was a good idea to change it!
Anyhow, I like the idea of this site.
What I found really weird was this guy's statement in his critique of the site. He said this:
Now why on earth is it detrimental to society if we have the idea to avoid high crime areas when we're strangers traveling through somewhere? Or even when we're not?
Shoot, I avoid high crime areas where I LIVE, I sure am going to go the extra mile to avoid them when I'm in a strange place.
That's just common sense.

It's pretty detrimental to society when we reinforce the idea that poor or crime-heavy areas are places to be categorically avoided or shamed. As if to assume that every person who lives in an area with comparatively high crime or poverty is a criminal, or that these areas are devoid of culture or positivity...
