Did he also fail in reigning in the American consumers who leveraged themselves into this mess? That's what happened here. It had nothing to with Bush's tax cuts or lack of regulation. It had everything to do with a large segment of society living off too much credit and not real assets. It finally caught up to us.

If you remember when the economy first started showing signs of going south Bush advisted people to go out and spend more.

 

I am discrediting this whole argument by noting the character of the person making these statements. This would be like me making an argument quoting President clinton. You would immediately throw it out. That's what I did.

 

president Bush has already taken us strongly in the socialist direction by nationalizing banks, insurance companies, and investment firms. That's a fact. So I suppose the republicans are responsible for making America socialist.

 

I'm only aware of one man who could walk on water and he was wholly divine. Why do you keep making these statements about worshiping Obama and him walking on water. I worship the true God not a politician. Isn't this supposed to be a Christian board?
