....I call them E-mails. I realize they are posts, of a private nature, still, in my limited tech knowledge and verbage, I often refer to things in terms I understand. Since the note went directly to you, I see them as E-mails. For this I too am sorry.

When I saw the thread title, I thought it meant that girls (generally) were going to be allowed to join a Scout Troop. That's been the case here fo decades, though so far as I am aware, boys cannot join the Guides (what Americans call "Girl Scouts").
