Funny how one will "use science" to "prove" global warming; (sorry...now that we're not getting warmer, it's "climate change.") But as soon as one shows, via scientific data, that "global warming" from manmade actions is a myth...katie bar the door, it's time to throw out insults.

Global warming is a fact. There's no denying that. However, MANMADE global warming is not currently conclusive. There's inaqequate evidence to suggest that human interference is a leading cause of planetary temperature change.

Further, there's inadequate evidence to suggest that the current warming is abnormal. Long term studies show that the temperature waxes and wanes regularly. A mere 30 years ago, it was a common belief that we were starting to enter another ice age, even prodicting that the Florida citrus industry would suffer by 2015. That turned out to be wrong, as further studies were conducted.

I'm a 100% proponent of being good stewards of the planet, which includes mitigating greenhouse gases and pollution. However, I'm also a proponent of the scientific method long term. If, over time, the scientific method is unable to conclude that climate change is primarily human-caused, then those advocating global warming hype must cease.

From that same story is the quote, "Nobody can say for sure whether it is climate change because there haven't been proper in-depth studies..." and
"Was it climate change? We don't know...".

The arrogance of man to think he can have such an effect on this planet. Just read your bibles people. Scripture clearly states that God is reserving this world unto fire in the day of judgement.

I'm sure the Bible also says to wrongly accuse people, hmm?

    Sheesh.

Google "silly accusations" and read 685,000 hits.

    Your point?

Amen!... It surprises me that Christians doubt that God has his hand on the thermostat of the Earth....

Either God is in control or man...

    Who controls the Earth?

Even if Global warming were manmade, I would let the earth burn before I let Ed Edwards deprive less affluent Americans of cheap, plentiful gas and oil for their clunkers, and before I stifled American economic might and weakened the last place on earth where Christianity can freely practice.

I wish all those who are pushing this agenda would simply quit breathing and decrease the surplus CO2 in the air. . .

It would be a shame to figure out that AGW (man-made Global Warming) IS TRUE post-civilization :-(

Back in 6th grade at McLean Texas (1954-55) we had three emergency drills:

    1. fire -- all exit the building orderly
    2. atomic bomb -- get under the desk
    3. tornado -- go to assigned storm shelter (in people's homes)

Again: I am describing the way things are -- not the way I want them to be.

    Here is something to consider:

    1 Corinthians 13:3 (KJV1769ish edition, e-sword edition):
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Strange isn't it, that the Bible talks about surrendering your body to someone who intends to burn it? Are you ready to surrender your body to martyrdom. Those who are ready to surrender to the enemy have IMHO the Spiritual Gift of Martyrdom.

BTW, it is always the poor who suffer from government oppression, the poor who will 'get burnt' by Global Warming. Again: I am describing the way things are -- not the way I want them to be, or that which would be desirable -- i just explain the way they is in a degenerate world suffering a burden of sin :-(

One of the reasons Rome fell was that the garden of North Africa was overtaken by the Saraha Desert. The crop belt of the Roman Empire was the north coast of Africa -- the poor farming practices helped the dessert go clear up to the beach of the Med.

I will comment on your first statement, because your last statement makes NO sense to this debate...

The only time there will be a Post-Civilization is when Christ returns..
At that time.. LET THE EARTH BURN.. I WILL BE WITH CHRIST.

As a matter of fact.. Revelation says it will... GOD does it, not man.

Let her burn, baby burn! Can't wait til Christ returns.
