    Do you realize this is all about data from the 20th century, well after the Industrial Revolution? Do you understand my point that Newman's blogger is trying to put meaning behind a statistically insignificant change?

    what I realize is that global warming is a fallacy ciontived by people who worship the creation rather than the creator.

    It seems like I read an editorial a week or so ago (Wall Street Journal?), that studied the reporting of global climate change. It was fascinating.

    Around 1900, the newspapers reported the coming of the next Ice Age. Glaciers in New York, etc.. In the 1930's, it was global warming, rising seas, burnt up crops. In the 1960's and 1970's, it was the coming Ice Age, again. Global cooling. There was a Time cover in the late 1970's concerning the issue. Late 1980's to present, it is global warming, again.

    Every period produced it's own "experts" making the dire predictions of disaster.

    Bottom line of the column? "Global crisis" sells newspapers, magazines, and books.
