'ALL' or 'none' statements are not helpful in defending the skeptic side.

Of course, 'Global Warming' and even "climate change" have become labels to summarize the belief that CO2 is causing the earth to warm dangerously.

It is generally accepted by all parties that the earth has been warming since the last little ice age ended in the 19th C. But what was rarely reported was that the rise was 0.7 C. in the last century [and half of that before the post-war boom], which is nothing outside the bounds of natural climate change.

The scam involved things like the hockey stick graph which eliminated the Medieval Warm Period and the little ice age and then showed temps rising abruptly in the 20th C

[And now, Climategate has even put in question how much this minimal rise has been...something best left for science to sort out].

CO2 does have some very minimal effect. It certainly is not a major driver of climate, which has been the main claim of the IPCC.

One mistake that people have made in the argument is to try and find another single source/driver to explain the non-noteworthy rise in temp. As Prof. Lindzen of MIT has said, that assumes that the IPCC is correct in claiming some single influence is driving the warming. And Lindzen points out that all that is necessary to nullify their false hypothesis is the fact that there is no change outside of what is natural in the climate.

Dr. John Christy an IPCC lead auther,[a Christian] has summed it up best: "Our ignorance about the climate system is enormous, and policy makers need to know that. This is an extremely complex system, and thinking we can control it is hubris."

The IPCC and the US Congress cannot admit ignorance. They think they can control mother nature and get more power, government grants, and a fat new tax in the process.
