Nice try, only applies if Al Gore's posting here. ^^^

This is what you're dealing with.

Nialler wouldn't know apt from a hole in the ground, either.

Ah, a French socialist. One of your posts, and this is the last time I'll ever address you:

Hyocrites and liars have to stick together.

You must be fair as Christians and not ignore the truth of the matter

As someone put it in another website:

It is necessary to know how many people live/work there.

It is necessary to know what additional load is unusual to him, such as security systems, etc.

It is necessary to know whether people work there and on what basis - is it 24 x 7? Do they have separate cooking/washing facilities?

All these are necessary to perform a reasoned comparison of power consumption. Remember that 3 shifts of 4 security men represents an additional consumption of 12 people.

The comparison proves nothing about Gore and even less about global warming.

Also hear that it may be a historic site...if that is the case changes take longer but again the swiftboating mentality of the bush/rove culture along with the money of big oil will try to knock Gore down....bring it on!

now remember this is 24/7 up and running house with secret service but the swiftboaters will not say a peep about that.

The Johnson Group got the swiftboating ball a rolling:
The press release from Johnson's group, an obscure conservative think tank founded by Johnson in 2004 when he was 24, was given splashy attention on the highly-trafficked Drudge Report Monday evening, and former Gore aides saw it as part of a piece, along with an Fox News Channel investigation from earlier this month of Gore's use of private planes in 2000. Last year, a seemingly amateurish Youtube video mocking the "An Inconvenient Truth" turned out to have been produced by slick Republican public relations firm called DCI, which just happens to have oil giant Exxon as a client.

    So lets review

    1. it is an older house in the process of up grades and may be historical as well which means buearacratic red tape before the upgrades take effect.
    2. Right wing noise machine smear campaign in full swing because because alot of money is being spread arond by big oil.

    3. ITS A BIG HOUSE!

    4. Secret Service working 24/7 (thank God) in 3 shifts

Don't throw stones at Al Gore's house

    http://www.startribune.com/357/story/1031848.html

    snippet:

Gore, by the way, offsets his fossil-fuel use by paying extra for renewable energy credits.
This was ignored by the talk-radio goobers, but the idea is simple: For a small extra charge, pennies per kilowatt hour, you can "buy" renewable energy credits from your energy company, which uses the money (it is carefully audited) to buy that amount of nonpolluting power (such as wind energy) for its system rather than building more power plants. Result: Your power lines may still deliver fossil power to your house, but you are making the power company buy additional, nonpolluting green energy for its grid.

    http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8NIPQFO0.htm

    snippet:
"We wanted to see if he was living by his own recommendations and walking the walk," said think tank president Drew Johnson.

Utility records show the Gore family paid an average monthly electric bill of about $1,200 last year for its 10,000-square-foot home.
The Gores used about 191,000 kilowatt hours in 2006, according to bills reviewed by The Associated Press. The typical Nashville household uses about 15,600 kilowatt-hours per year.

The group said that Gore used nearly 221,000 kilowatt hours last year and that his average monthly electric bill was $1,359. Johnson said his group got its figures from Nashville Electric Service.
But company spokeswoman Laurie Parker said the utility never got a request from the policy center and never gave it any information.
Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said: "Sometimes when people don't like the message, in this case that global warming is real, it's convenient to attack the messenger."

Kreider said Gore purchases enough energy from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and methane gas to balance 100 percent of his electricity costs.
Gore, who owns homes in Carthage, Tenn., and in the Washington area, has said he leads a "carbon-neutral lifestyle." To balance out other carbon emissions, the Gores invest money in projects to reduce energy consumption, Kreider said.

My comment: I wonder if this obscure right wing thing tank never heard of before got and influx of money from opponents to the good work of a good
    Christian man.

Then the right wing noise machine financed by big oil and their minions took it as gospel ...shame on them. The swiftboaters tactics are clear it goes back to Nazi Germany and Josef Goebbels ..how can we tell a half lie a half truth and manipulate it by repeating it and shocking it to the medias system to get an emotional response onward to an emotional roller coaster.

but the good news is I strongly believe Christians will be fair and see all sides and not take the bait of Propaganda and its tactics.

About as many as he flies around the country on his private jet, stamping it's carbon footprint across the nation.

Christians will place their faith in God, not hypocrites like Al Gore.

And who exactly got "swiftboated ?"

    Another quote from Daisy's hero:

    RufusAtticus:

"And people are surprised by this? I mean, any place that would put sarfarti on a pedestal and have everyone bow down to his arguments(which are seriously packed with insult and ad homs....)--you expected decent behaviour from them?

At least BaptistBoard's Golden Calf, Helen "Mrs. C-decay" Setterfield, isn't prone to abuse anything other than logic and evidence."

So lemme get this straight---he's VOLUNTARILY PAYING MORE to USE LESS ENVIRONMENTALLY DESTRUCTIVE POWER??

    Wow. Yeah. What a hypocrite.

Just think, if he had become POTUS, he might have sent our troops to war against a country that didn't attack us, asking our young people to volunteer for duty, while his children partied.....

    Oh...wait...nevermind....

What a wretched thing to say. It's interesting to see someone rant about insults and ad homs and then proceed to call someone a "Golden Calf". I did some Googling on this "gentleman" and he really seems to have a Jones for attacking Helen and her husband. Not sure why Christianforums.com tolerates an evolutionary biologist who attacks Christians but I suppose that fits with their ecumenical mission.

What is the link to Daisy being aligned with this RufusAtticus? Surely, Christians do not align themselves with evolutionary biologists. However, it would match up with someone who has a worldview of the God of Abraham to be a "silly conceit".

To blame a right wing smear is a reach, fer sure. Al Gore's problems begin with Al Gore's mouth.

The Conference on Global Warming in St. Paul, Minnesota for this evening had to be cancelled on account of the blizzard forecast of 15-24 in. of snow, Temps of 10* F. and wind chills of well below zero. [IMG]

We had the longest stretch of days where the Temperature never got above freezing, in recorded history, here in central KY. [IMG]

BTW, that is the second time in less than three weeks a 'conference' was cancelled, as one was cancelled in Washington, D.C. around the middle of last month because of (quote) "an incidental ice storm". (unquote) [IMG]
    Yep! Right!

In fact, it got so cold in Washington, the politicians were walking around with their hands in their own pockets! Now that's is really cold!

Al Gore drew a SRO (standing room only) crowd
at the University of Oklahoma last night. The crowd
was estimated at 9,000 which set a record for
the Loyd Noble Center which only seats 8,500 people.
In the crowd was former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher
and former Soviet Leader, Mikhail Gorbachev.

Are you part of the answer to the Global Warming crises
    or part of the problem?

Interesting piece of misinformation. It was only 15 years ago
that people started scheduling conferences in St. Paul, Minn
during the first two weeks of March.

Remember, Global Warming can change times the used to might
have been TEN below up to zero; situcations that would have
been zero up to TEN above.

It's the old "shoot the messenger" technique, desperation. Gore is going the Michael Moore route, when they found out he owned stock in Halliburton (OT-George Soros, another hypocrite just bought shares there, too) -
