An early September winter storm in the Black Hills has dumped up to 8 inches of snow in the area, while Rapid City received its earliest snowfall in more than 120 years.

Jon Chamberlain, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Rapid City, said almost 1 inch of snow had fallen in downtown Rapid City by 8:30 a.m. while 2 inches was measured in higher elevations in town.

Read/heard two interesting items yesterday - the ice caps grew last year and the ozone up yonder is also growing.

They altered terms a few years ago from global warming to climate change. But they still are on the losing end of the proposition.

Of course, that is what liberals do. They change the terms to fit their agenda. Much like science does in many cases.

It is very cool here in central Indiana (Indianapolis area). Wednesday we had rain and tornado watch and then it turned cool. Last night we turned the heat on as night temperatures are dropping into the low fifties to high forties with a westerly wind. Probably we are getting the storm that swept through the northern Rockies.

Remember the prophetic lyrics of "O Susana" ? One of th lines says "the sun was so hot, I froze to death....."

We're living that out right now! Al Gore and "I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee" were trying to warn us!!!
