Since when are we not entitled to what we've earned? You must be a Democrat.

    See posts 32, 76, 82, 93, 96, and 108.

Everyone believing into Him has the right to life (eternal life). John 1:12, 3:16

We have liberty in Christ Jesus, Galatians 2:4.

One of the aspects of "goodness" is happiness, thus Ephesians 5:9

False. I have read the thread. You have no scripture and you have not quoted scripture.

Quote those passages, exactly as they are written. You have a tendency to state what you think they mean, yet never actually quote the scripture or show the context.
It is tiresome to track down your bunny trail.

What a phoney, what an endless question asker, why is this ploy allowed?

How can truth be presented as to the biblical rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, when naysayers are allowed to endlessly post "taint so" with absolutely no support from scripture.

You misunderstand. My argument is we are not automatically entitled. My complaint is this sense of entitlement has effected our nation in a negative way.

People rest on their supposed "entitlements".

Are you a Democrat (or, more broadly, are you a liberal)?

So, it seems you cannot and will not quote the passage/verse in the Bible that clearly gives all humans the unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Notice that the naysayers offer nothing but taint so. Go figure

The great commission indicates all people have the right to hear the gospel according to God's command. Thus the right to pursue the goodness, joy, and happiness of salvation through faith. Full stop

Do you have the idea that we differ about the negativity for our nation about a sense of entitlement? And jamming the word "automatically" in changes nothing. But on some posts you say you are not talking about the country and legal rights therein, and then in some, like this, you are.

    L no!

I know what I believe - that this sense of entitlement has negatively effected our nation as people have moved from expecting the government to protect their rights but to give them entitlements.

What you believe, I do not know. But since you seem (just my observation from your objections to my view) that men are entitled in the sense that our government owes them something rather than them having to earn a living, I just assumed you were a Liberal if not a Democrat.

My experience is that Democrats and liberals have this sense of entitlement that I take you to be advocating. Rather than the government existing to protect our rights the government exists to provide entitlements to people. That, as far as I can tell, is how we differ.

But like I said, I'm just going off your objections to my posts. I do not know where you have actually expressed your objections other than you have objected.

On this thread we are not talking about government (or the DOI) but whether or not men exist by the will of God apart from entitlement or if God has given men entitlements to demand right to their own lives, to seek after their own happiness (not the context of the DOI, BTW), and to demand their own liberty. I do not see this in Scripture.

Well, that's about enough of this. Where does the idea come from that, even on points on which we agree, there's some egotistical need to be argumentative? When you argue with this, it's not likely I'll be responding, with better things to do today.

Again, you cannot quote these verses and the context from which they come. Instead, you just post references and expect others to look them up and argue you are wrong. You are so lazy with the Bible, Van. You know that cults follow your pattern of sharing Bible verses, yet you follow their pattern.
I dare you to actually quote the verses and passage around the verse. Yet, if you did such a thing it would be obvious to all readers how you are mishandling the scripture.
