    Hey People,

I'm finally going to visit Southeastern today. I will probably have a bad time trying to park because they are installing Dr. Akin today. I was going to wait but today is the best time for me to go. Just wanted to share the news..

Going to the ceremonies or just visiting? God bless you. This is another step.

Remember the children's story "Hard by the Yard, Cinch by the Inch" fits seminary, too!!

Did you attend Dr. Akin's installation? Did he come with own CD, or do you have download drivers for him? Is he compatible with Windows95, 98, ME, 2000, and XP? Is Dr. Akin shareware or do you have to pay for him? If you have to pay, can you get a trial version? Does the trial version have all of Dr. Akin's features included or is it just a dumbed down version of Dr. Akin? I don't think I would like a dumbed down verion of Dr. Akin, because I hear a lot of good things about him already. Is there a Linux version of Dr. Akin...Gotta love free software? Can Dr. Akin run on Novell platforms? Many smaller churches use Novell these days because they are very reliable. Were they sure to shut down all running applications, to clear the cache, do all updates afterwards? Did they have to restart the seminary? Did Dr. Akin boot properly? All these are very important, because I have heard a lot about Dr. Akin :D . :D :D

Seriously, I hope all went well for you today!

Hey, Brooks! Congrats, you lucky dog (SEBTS and getting married).

I have been to the SEBTS campus. Unfortunately, it was on a weekend, but it truly is beautiful. Who knows, one day I may get to go there as a student...

    LOL. Funny Gene... hehe

WOW! It was beautiful. I'd never been to Wake Forest before. I loved it. I didn't go to the installation. I had to go to Raleigh first and interview for a job. I was offered the job but it didn't promise enough hours off the top, but it may change. Good money for an EMT though. When I move up there and work another job I'll work there a couple days a month to supplement whats going to be a small income.

Anyway, I loved the campus. I loved Wake Forest, but I have never been a fan of Raleigh. Capital Blvd. is like a highway. Too much traffic. When I get a job I'll be moving up there. Hopefully in three to five weeks. I have a couple of job leads. I want to get settled before the semester starts. Thanks for replying. Please pray that God will open a door for a pt job that will be enough to pay bills, but allow me to spend most of my time on my education.
