Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary

    Golden Gate benefits from not being so close to the nonsense that is SBC land down south. Can you imagine Al or Paige in San Francisco, they would need body guards to get off campus!

    On the other hand Golden Gate takes a hit by just being SBC. Every dumb thing that gets attributed to some SBC guy (true SBCers would never let a girl speak) ends up making Golden Gate look the nearest home for nuts and squirrels. Truth is I can't think of a place that needs a good seminary more then the Bay area. To bad the SBC won't let Golden Gate be that seminary, far too many chapels and egg beaters to be purchased.

    Full disclosure: I am a Golden Gate grad
